A Wackenhut Services sergeant assigned to Savannah River Site was honored recently with the Elliott P. Sydnor Composite Adversary Team Motivational Award given to exceptional members of the U.S. Energy Department’s Composite Adversary Team.

The recipient, Doug Oglesby, began his service with the WSI-SRS Team in 1989 and joined the Special Response Team in 1994. He was promoted to sergeant in 2007.

The award is named for retired Col. Elliot P. Sydnor, a highly decorated and respected veteran who was on site to present Oglesby’s award.
