GAINESVILLE, Ga. -- Police are still looking into allegations of a former Habersham County schoolteacher sending “inappropriate pictures” to high school students.

Jessica Daniel, who taught at the Habersham Ninth Grade Academy, is under investigation by the Habersham County Board of Education Police Department, according to The Times of Gainesville.

The school board became aware of the allegations on May 2, according to a press release issued by the system.

Daniel was immediately placed on leave and subsequently submitted her resignation, which the board accepted May 4.

What is going on with these

What is going on with these teachers now days?????? I may anger some folks but personally, I think you should have to be a certain age to start teaching in middle school or high school. Start out with the little ones then move up as their maturity grows. Apparently some of these teachers are still very immature themselves........Example, there is a gym teacher at a local school, I will not name the school but everytime you see her she is in a dress or skirt that is half way but her thigh and very tight fitting and she has a cute shape. Point is, I have heard some remarks that the high school boys have said about her so personally, I think there should be a stricter dress codes for teachers also. They are there to teach our kids, not to distract them with what they wear and certainly not to drive young men crazy.......and it seems the female teachers are getting in trouble alot more often than the males.

I'm sure if you email the teacher in question, she'd be happy to send you a photo. She's not shy, if the above report is accurate.

When I was in school, the

When I was in school, the boys made remarks about attractive female teachers no matter what they wore. The boys do it because they are walking, talking, breathing giant hormones. The teachers could wear skirts to their ankles, the boys wouldn't care.

True about boys....

I agree corgimom but most of our teachers were older and knew better. These younger teachers seem to like the attention they are getting and when you add the short skirts and tight tops into the equation is is just asking for trouble. You would think they would have more sense but apparently as mush as it has happend in recent years they don't.
