Deal to address UGA grads

ATHENS, Ga. — About 5,400 students will graduate from the University of Georgia this week.

The university will hold its spring commencement ceremonies Friday, one at 10 a.m. for graduate students in Stegeman Coliseum and one at 7 p.m. for undergraduates in Sanford Stadium.

The speaker for the undergraduate ceremony is Gov. Nathan Deal. Lindsay R. Boring, director of the Joseph W. Jones Ecological Research Center at Ichauway in southwest Georgia, will speak to the graduate students.
