Georgia revenues up in April

ATLANTA -- Gov. Nathan Deal announced today that Georgia’s net tax collections for the month of April 2012 totaled $1.53 billion for an increase of $152 million or 11 percent compared to April 2011. According to a news release, through 10 months of FY2012, net revenue collections totaled nearly $13.3 billion for an increase of $677 million or 5.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
