Grovetown gas leak repaired

Pam Tucker, the director of emergency and operations for Columbia County, reported at 9:40 p.m. that a gas leak has been fixed in Grovetown and that traffic has been restored to normal.

The leak, reported at 6:30 p.m., was causing traffic issues at Newmantown Road and West Robinson Avenue in Grovetown because of roadblocks at that intersection.

Relieved. So hopefully those

Relieved. So hopefully those strange noises I just heard were not gas explosions from out there. A few minutes after I heard them, the house shook for a little bit, that's why I checked back here to see if the Grovetown gas leak had been resolved. Glad to see it has been repaired. But that leaves me wondering what I heard? 30906 area.
