A Grovetown woman filed a report with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, claiming that her ex-boyfriend gave her boss pictures that showed her naked.

According to an incident report, the 34-year-old victim had given her boyfriend the pictures when they were dating in 2001, but later ended the relationship.

The woman said her ex-boyfriend brought the pictures to her work at Sentinel Probation Office, 398 Walton Way, and handed copies of the pictures to a woman who took them to her manager.

If folks weren't so uptight

If folks weren't so uptight about nudity in this country, this would be no big deal. It's only a human body, made in God's image. The body is a beautiful thing.

Specsta I think God would be against giving nude photos of someone else away.

I have to agree with common.sense though, this is one reason why you would not allow nude photos to be taken of you.

Sometimes people do things they regret later. She shouldn't have to deal with a vindictive ex-boyfriend like this.

She should thank God that he is her EX-boyfriend, who would do something like that?

But something is very off....she dated him 11 years ago, why would he be doing this now? And what does he think he's going to accomplish, who cares if she had nude photos taken of herself 11 years ago?

People when in a relationship

People when in a relationship never think about what may happen in the future, while I agree the human body can be very beautiful I still do not want nude pics of me out there for everyone to see. This guy is a jerk and obviously he needs to get over the past and move on.

Another jerk is the woman (third party) who gave the photos to the manager. A kind person would have given the photos to the subject of this story, not to the manager.

religion showed up way before tparty, river, you just didn't notice because until tparty it was just the constant hum of the christian blame the victim army. godissogood takes the prize for blaming the victim (second to the chronicle, of course, who set up the pins).

Actually, GodisSoGood, the story says the woman GAVE the photos to the boyfriend. She must have had the photos before she met him or she had someone else take the photos for the gift. It would have been kinder if the man had merely given the photos back to the woman rather than embarassing her at work.

Warrant? I wonder what the crime would be? But then, Richmond County sheriff deputies, under advice of State Court Judge Fleming, arrested people asking for practice round tickets with disorderly conduct. I guess the threshold for arrest is low in Richmond County.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe you can give nude pics to others without the consent of the individual. I know online that's the case. It's a violation of federal law.

"I don't know... god banished Adam and Eve for covering up their naughty bits, and if I recall correctly, the reason why we all die."

You recall incorrectly....God did not banished Adam and Eve for covering up their naughty bits....He banished them because of disobedience. And because of this disobedience, is the reason we all die physically.

Whether the boyfriend took the pictures or she had someone else take the pictures which she gave to her boyfriend, the lack of her morality did result in her embarassment. The boyfriend is no doubt a total jerk, and I agree the woman who was handed the pictures, should have given them to the victim instead of the manager.

According to the article the pictures were taken in 2001 while they were dating but it is unclear how long the relationship lasted, could have been until just recently. All the article states is "but later ended the relationship". How much later could mean a year or eight years.

not sure, palmetto. i think it's a mistake to let dumb bullies get you down. if the creep broke a law by giving those photos to her boss, she did the way right thing in reporting it. (try imagining palmetto's same comment under a story about a rape where all the commenters blame her for being too alluring.) don't let bullies bully you out of reporting creeps. the law is supposed to protect us.

palmetto, don't see anywhere

palmetto, don't see anywhere on here where anyone has "revel in character assasination" of the victim. A few have commented that it's not a good idea to let someone take nude pictures of you (can you ever really trust someone not to show them to at least one person?) I believe most will agree the ex-boyfriend is a jerk and vindictive for some reason and that the woman who turned the pictures over to the manager wasn't the brightest bulb in the box.

Some people just thrive in trying to find fault with those who attempt to live Godly lives to the point they imagine fault where there is none.

You did say she was lacking in "morality." Whether you revel in it or not...you certainly waste no time pilling out the label.
