Former Georgia congresswoman Cynthia McKinney is preparing to run for her old 4th Congressional district seat on the Green Party ticket, The Atlanta-Journal Constitution reports.

McKinney was defeated by 4th district incumbent Hank Johnson in 2006 after serving six terms in Congress and has kept a low profile since returning to Atlanta from the San Francisco area where she moved in 2007.

Since February she has made a few public appearances in her old district but stayed low key with her plans. She filed paperwork April 2 with the Federal Elections Commission declaring her intention to run.

Tracked down at her mother’s home Thursday by a reporter from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, McKinney would not comment and ordered the reporter off the property.

BSNM, nothing in my quote

BSNM, nothing in my quote from Schwartz says anything about Israel. Are you basing your "feeling" on his last name or do you have something more concrete you can point to?

BSNM, I never heard Boortz

BSNM, I never heard Boortz call McKinny the slurs you mentioned earlier. But I have heard him call her the "cutest little communist in Congress".

It's a little late for April

It's a little late for April fools jokes. I guess if this is for real, it's a good way for her to get free meals and lodging for a month or so on some misguided individuals dime.

Bsnm, why do you insist that

Bsnm, why do you insist that any black person can do no wrong, and if anyone suggests otherwise that person is racially motivated? No one race has a monopoly on stupidity, but anyone with half a lick of sense knows that CM is a joke and an embarrassment to Ga.

Conservative Man, Neal did

Conservative Man, Neal did make a rude comment about her hair and apologized ad nausem for it after people called him on it. The first to haul him up short was his popular sidekick and UGA alumnus, Royal Marshall.
