Shoulder repairs scheduled next week for Gordon, Mike Padgett highways

Georgia Department of Transportation maintenance crews are scheduled to do maintenance repairs to the shoulders of Gordon Highway and Mike Padgett Highway from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

You have got to be

You have got to be kidding!!!!! The DOT just spent millions to repave Mike Padgett Hwy. Now they are going to spend more bucks on shoulder repairs just months before they are going to widen just about all of it to install raised medians. Does this make sense to any thinking person??

I must say that I share the

I must say that I share the outrage of truth be told. The Ga. DOT does not co-ordinate projects such that they make sense or are efficient. They just lay the asphalt and pay the contractors. That's the way the money goes. Pop goes the weasel.
