Another awards show, another award for Lady Antebellum.

The trio won Vocal Group of the Year, the third straight year it has won this category at the Academy of Country Music Awards, during the ceremony Sunday night in Las Vegas.

The group was also nominated for Album of the Year for Own the Night and Song and Video of the Year for Just a Kiss but didn’t win those categories Sunday. Miranda Lambert’s Four the Record won Album of the Year, Eli Young Band’s Crazy Girl won Song of the Year, and Toby Keith’s Red Solo Cup won Video of the Year.

The trio includes Columbia County natives Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood.

Earlier this year, Lady A picked up the Best Country Album award for the second straight year in February during the Grammy Awards, which was a follow-up to winning five Grammys in 2011 and another in 2010.

on the whole that was one of the worst award shows I've seen
