Tornado alarms part of SC preparedness week

Tornado alarms might be heard this week as part South Carolina’s Severe Weather Awareness Week.

The NOAA Alert Radio sounded an alarm earlier this morning.

Pam Tucker, director of Columbia County Emergency and Operations Division, said the alarms are part of a statewide tornado drill.
