An Aiken school bus was involved in an accident when a car pulled out in front of it this afternoon, police said.

The car turned onto York Street from Rudy Mason Parkway and collided with the bus, said Aiken Public Safety Sgt. Jake Mahoney. There were no children on the bus at the time. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The car driver will be at fault for the accident, Mahoney said.
