A man pinned between his car and a tree had to be removed by the Jaws of Life Saturday morning, police said.

Authorities were called to the 3600 block of Massoit Drive at 2:41 a.m. after a man took a turn too sharply and rolled his car into a tree, Richmond County Sheriff’s Capt. Scott Gay said. His name was not immediately available.

Gay said deputies suspected alcohol was involved.

The man was brought to the Medical College of Georgia Hospital.

Gay said the man was in stable condition.
