Inmate flees Augusta work detail

Richmond County authorities are searching for a prisoner who escaped work detail at Westview Cemetery.


The prisoner has been identified as Charles Moore and described as a white male, 5-foot-8, 160 lbs, with brown hair, blue eyes and crew cut.

Moore, 24, is serving a 10-year sentence for theft by receiving stolen property and drug charges from Chatham and Bullock counties.

There isn't any hope. Our governmental officials would rather fight against each other and blame each other than find ways to solve the economic problems. I do not blame one party or the other I blame both of them.
