Augusta Bar donates $10,000 to Safe Homes of Augusta

The Augusta Bar Association, which focuses its community and public service activities on a particular charity each year, presented more than $10,000 to Safe Homes of Augusta at its annual meeting on Thursday, according to a press release. Safe Homes was selected as the designated charity for the Augusta Bar’s 2011 Raising the Bar Campaign. Safe Homes offers comprehensive services to persons experiencing domestic violence and works to educate the community in an effort to break the cycle of violence.
