Workshop to discuss SRS to be held Thursday in Augusta

A community workshop to discuss Savannah River Site and its programs will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 26 at Beulah Grove Baptist Church, 1434 Poplar St., Augusta.

The event, co-sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Energy Department, will offer participants a chance to ask questions about environmental justice, the Superfund Jobs Training Initiative, involvement of other state and federal agencies at SRS, and opportunities for agency grants.
