Noise expected from rock blast

A rock blasting will cause loud noises this afternoon in the vicinity of the blast site, 618 Gibbs Road in Columbia County.

Associate Rock Blasting will conduct the blast between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Gibbs Road is between Washington Road and Hereford Farm Road. The site is also near Evans Elementary School, Evans Middle School and West Acres Baptist Church

When I saw the headline I

When I saw the headline I thought it already occurred, because about 1/2 hr ago I felt a pretty good boom/shake. Must have been the quarry on Columbia Road.
