Several lane and road closures are planned for this week across Richmond County.

The left lane of Aviation Way at Augusta Regional Airport closed this morning and will remain closed for 45-60 days while construction crews work on an additional 600 parking spaces.

One lane of westbound Interstate 20 between mile markers 201 and 200 is closed and will remain closed through Thursday for concrete slab replacement.

A southbound lane of James Brown Boulevard located between the levee and Reynolds Street will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday while a crane unloads construction items.

Several roads will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday while crews remove trees and stumps. The roads affected are the 2200 block of Wrightsboro Road from Troupe to Winter streets; Pendleton Road from Wrightsboro Road to Trinity Hospital entrance; and Wingfield Street at Wrightsboro Road.
