Whistle Stop arson reward rises

Up to $12,000 is offered for anyone providing information on the Nov. 24 arson at Whistle Stop Cafe.

The owner of the cafe located at 573 Greene St., and the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office have each offered a reward of $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for the arson.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 821-1080.
