Authorities have identified a fatal hit and run victim from this morning as Blossom G. Wallace.
The 45-year-old woman with no local address died of blunt force injuries after she was hit while pushing a grocery cart across the eastbound lanes of Gordon Highway, near the Molly Pond Road intersection, around 3:45 a.m.
Richmond County deputies are searching the area for the vehicle that left the scene.
Who would be walking across Gordon HWY at 0345?

@bdouglas: In point of fact, that would not be a "Jesus Juke". That would be a reminder that people have significance and value, no matter who they are or what they're doing, or whether you approve of them.
Some people lose sight of that in their rush to make corrosive comments or pose sarcastic questions about people who can't defend themselves. It's somewhat surprising showing up on the 4th day of Christmas, don't you think?

@Fiat: Hey, I agree with your sentiment in the comment, it just turned religious out of nowhere. The exact same way a "Jesus Juke" works. Taking someone's honest opinion or sentiment and turning it into a "this one oughta make them feel like a horrible person" sort of rebuttal.
Perhaps people should think about what they post, how heartless or petty it will come across to others, before sharing it, even if it is their honest opinion or sentiment.
It's always good to keep an eye on the eternal perspective, and that isn't about religion at all.

Amazing how folks attempt to make a joke out of someone losing their life. Pretty sad that this happen, no matter the person, or how, a person is no long alive.
