A Lincolnton woman was airlifted to the hospital Friday morning after she was ejected from her truck during a single-vehicle wreck in Appling.

Rose Parsley, 49, of the 1200 block of Price Reese Road, is listed in critical condition at Georgia Health Sciences Medical Center, said hospital spokeswoman Denise Parrish.

Parsley was traveling south on Cobbham Road near Lloyd Paschal Road about 10:50 a.m. when her 1994 Nissan truck drifted off the left side of the road and struck a culvert, said Columbia County sheriff’s Capt. Steve Morris.

The truck flipped, causing Parsley to be ejected.

Thank goodness she survived.

Thank goodness she survived. Typically it is young people being stupid about seat belts but this lady was 49.
