9 arrested after Edgefield drug sweep

Nine people were arrested Friday after a sweep by the Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office in Johnston, S.C.

The sweep was prompted by guns and crack cocaine seized from the area in the past month, according to a news release.

Five were arrested near Ridge Road Apartments on cocaine and marijuana charges: Rico Antonio Norris, 29, of Johnston; Trevor Lydell Daniel, 25, of Johnston; Blake Marcell Clark, 23, of Aiken; Derrick Coleman, 30, of Johnston; and Donald Antonio Andrews, 32, of Greenwood, S.C.

Four more were arrested for outstanding warrants: Larry Hill Jr., 52, of Johnston; Aprille Lynette Holmes, 23, of Johnston; Latoya Sherette Culbreath, 24, of Ridge Spring, S.C.; and Christina Annemara Weeks, 33, of Johnston.
