Air conditioner stolen from Augusta worship center

An air-conditioning unit valued at $3,000 was reportedly stolen from The Building Worship Center on Gordon Highway.

Donald Reynolds, a preacher at the center, told police a burglar removed the compressor unit and all the copper connectors to a Rheem air-conditioning unit between Dec. 11 and 12:30 p.m. Sunday, according to a Richmond County sheriff’s report.
