Chief Deputy Coroner Mark Bowen identified the victim as Ronald Irvin, 47, of 2345 Naples Drive, and said he had been shot at least once.
An autopsy is planned today at the GBI Crime Lab.

Wonder if Deke actually traversed the "residential" south end of the county on his way to the beach? Wish I had known. We would have hung a "Welcome Stranger" banner out on Hwy 25. Yep Deke, we are still here and sending in our yearly tribute to the City so you can divide it between the rich white guys and the black neighborhoods downtown. Come back again when you can stay awhile. I've got a few ideas I'd like to discuss with you about having the City build me a shopping center on my land and then paying me an outrageous salary to operate it whether it makes any money or not. Of course, I will need a 10 year tax exemption too. What's the worst that could happen? If it doesn't work out you can always tear it down and build me a new chemical factory, which is apparently the only "development" you can channel to the south end.
