Showers, gusty winds sweeping over region

A line of showers moving across the Savannah River toward South Carolina this afternoon will produce wind gusts up to 40 mph, weather officials warn.

Some locations that will be affected include Gloverville, Barnwell, Edgefield, New Ellenton, North Augusta, Waynesboro and Augusta.
