Alan Haskins, of the 3400 Block of Jonathan Circle, was arrested after selling more than $1,100 of stolen traffic signs, according to an email from Richmond County Sheriff’s Investigator Kendall Brown.
Brown said investigators were alerted to Campbell’s Recycling Center on 250 Dan Bowles Road, by employees after Haskins sold them the signs.
He sold 12 stop signs, five named road signs, two dual arrow signs, two yield signs, one weight limit sign, one “Do Not Enter” sign and one “Pullman Hall” sign.
The signs were allegedly stolen from the Traffic Engineering Sign Shop at 1815 Marvin Griffin Road.
Haskins is charged with one count of theft by receiving stolen property over $500.
