Reward offered in cafe arson case

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is offering a reward for any information leading to the arrest of the arsonist who set fire to the WhistleStop Cafe.

Authorities said the local eatery at 573 Greene St., was set on fire around 8:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

The sheriff’s office reward is in addition to a reward offered by the state fire marshal.
