Blythe body found, identified

The body of a man who was reported missing last week was found Wednesday morning in Blythe.

Georgia Power employees found Larry L. Norton, 56, of the 3600 block of Hopson Mill Road, in the utility’s right of way – not far from his home – about 9 a.m., Richmond County Coroner Grover Tuten said.

Norton was reported missing Nov. 15 to the Blythe Police Department.

The body was sent to the Georgia Bureau of In­vestigation crime lab in Au­gusta for an autopsy.
