Kitchen sink, appliances stolen from home

A burglar stole a kitchen sink and other items from an Augusta home at some point over the last week.

John W. Lighty of the 400 block of Peach Orchard Road said that someone kicked in the front door of his property on the 3200 block of Millidgeville Road between Nov. 11 and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Along with the sink, Lighty said his washing machine, dryer, refrigerator, freezer and air conditioner were missing.
