Veterans health fair Friday at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center

Veterans can learn about benefits such as disability at a briefing and health fair Friday at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center.

The event will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. in the third-floor auditorium at the Uptown Division, 1 Freedom Way. In addition to learning how to register for benefits, the event will include discussions about veterans’ health issues such as diabetes, heart disease and post-traumatic stress disorder. The event is co-sponsored by Chapter 18 of Disabled American Veterans.

I wish that this information

I wish that this information was put out a bit sooner. I am a veteran who is very much interested in what benifits I can access. I wish that the info could have been available at least 1-2 days before the event so that I as well as others could make arrangments to be there. Hopefully they will do so on their next event
