According to a news release, a man handed an employee at the restaurant on Knox Avenue a note around 9:30 p.m. Oct. 22 that said, “Armed and Dangerous! Don’t hesitate! I want $3,000. Any false move everyone dies!”
The bandit, later identified as 24-year-old Marquis Shannon Lane, of Warrenville, then grabbed money from the register and safe and ran away.
Lane was located by the Burnettown Police Department Monday and was charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
