Aiken County sheriff’s officers have arrested a Lexington mna as part of an Internet predator investigation.

State Attorney General Alan Wilson said Jamey Busbee, 30, was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of criminal solicitation of a minor and one count dissemination of obscene material to a minor.

Arrest warrants maintain Busbee, using the alias “Jason Smith,” solicited sex on the Internet from individuals he believed to be a 12- and 13-year-old girl. He also e-mailed one of the children a nude photo of himself. Parents of one of the victims discovered evidence of the crimes, and notified the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, according to a news release.
