Tornado warning expires

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for northern Bulloch, extreme north central Effingham, south central Jenkins and Screven counties in Georgia and extreme southwestern Hampton County South Carolina. It expired at 4:15 p.m.

At 3:24 p.m., weather service Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado near Hopeulikit, Ga., moving northeast at 30 mph. 

Some locations in the warning area include Middleground, Rocky Ford, Scarboro, Dover, Woodcliff, Captolo and Oliver.
