There are many local opportunities to remember 9/11.

Among them:

9/11: We Will Never Forget, presented by Augusta State University’s Reese Library: Through Oct. 31; view government information regarding America’s response to the terrorist attacks; on display on second floor of library

9/11 Remembrance Ceremony: 9 a.m. Sunday; acknowledgements, American flags symbolizing public safety members lost, tolling of bells, speeches; Carl Scott (706) 821-1642

Interdenominational Day of Prayer: 4 p.m. Sunday; field next to Harlem United Methodist Church

Meals For Firefighters: Sept. 11 meals provided by Kroger on 15th Street being taken to area firefighters with cards made by Garrett Elementary School pupils included

Memorial Ceremony in Honor of the Terrorist Attacks: 11 a.m. Monday; ASU D. Douglas Barnard Jr. Amphitheatre; guest speaker Randall Miller, associate professor in the Department of Political Science
