Ken Meyers: Man, 46, is driving a white van and could be headed for Alabama, police said.

The massive manhunt began after 6 p.m., when authorities received a call about three people killed on Daytona Road, near South Carolina Highway 39.

Aiken County sheriff's Capt. Charles Barranco said authorities are looking for Ken Meyers, who is 180 pounds and 6 feet tall. Authorities said he was driving a white van that could have ladders on top of it.

Barranco said during a briefing Saturday evening that Meyers is believed to be armed and dangerous and could be headed toward Alabama.

Authorities did not release the identities of the victims or say where they were discovered. Barranco said they were killed by a gun.

Anyone with information about the case can contact the Aiken County Sheriff's Office at (800) 922-9709.

He is just a suspect and this
Unpublished

He is just a suspect and this is still America where we are innocent until proven guilty. How many wanted to hang the Duke lacrosse players a few years ago for sexual assault? How many thought the head of the IMF in NY was guilty and now prosecutors have dropped the charges of rape against him? The law and equal justice is what separates America from most countries of the world. If he IS guilty of a triple homicide then the execution should be quick....until a trial he is merely a suspect...

No you don't know that, you

No you don't know that, you assumed it. All you know is he was arrested at some point in his life and had a mug shot taken. The case could have been dismissed or he could have been found not guilty.

At the point double-standard

At the point double-standard made the comment, an assumption was made just because of a mugshot. A mugshot doesn't necessarily mean someone is guilty of anything. Even a "record" doesn't mean someone is convicted of anything. If people aren't innocent until proven guilty what do we need a court system for? Regarding the current situation: Maybe he did kill those people, maybe he killed himself, as it SEEMS. But maybe, he didn't. How do you know? Were you there? Let the law cross all the t's and dot all the i's then make those types of statements and let the media stick its neck out if it wishes, drawing conclusions from what little we've been presented with. I'm not going to do it. Things are not always as they seem. Let the law sort it out.

Happy Chimer, at the time I

Happy Chimer, at the time I made my comments that information was not available, so your comment is irrelevant. I saw the Jail Report story already and the updated report. Neither change the validity of my comments at the time they were posted. I made NO assumption of ANYONE's guilt or innocence. Also, keep in mind the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is STILL investigating this matter. Why would you even want to make any statements of who did what when, when THEY haven't finished the investigation?
