Richmond County authorities are investigating reports of an armed robbery in the Chuck E. Cheese's parking lot Wednesday.

According to an incident report, a man and a woman, both 18, were in a vehicle at 3435 Wrightsboro Road around 4:30 p.m. when two men jumped into the back seat and pulled a gun.

The couple handed over their belongings and saw the men run across Marks Church Road then get into a red car with another man, deputies said.

Rush hour........broad daylight.......busy shopping center. The old advice about "stay away from dark and isolated areas with little traffic flow" no longer applies. The predators are getting more brazen by the day.

lol bojangles. And, I agree with unbiased propaganda!! The bleeding hearts of this country have made it to where these criminals fear nothing because there is no real consequence to their actions. The only way they will get the picture is if the rest of us, who do have common sense and value honest hardworking Americans over immoral losers, get the message out we aren't putting up with it!!

When only 1 out of 5 RCSO

When only 1 out of 5 RCSO cases result in an arrest, why WOULDN"T a criminal commit crimes in Augusta?

One out of five is just disgraceful.

We need another shoot on site

We need another shoot on site order so cops can do their jobs.
Last time a shoot on site order was issued it was so effective it even saved criminal's lives as they stopped committing crimes at the rate they were and many left town. Augusta is far too accommodating to the criminal element. they come here, get free meals, free clothes, free this, and free that.
