On Monday, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 6 to 9 p.m., the Augusta Fire Department and Water Utilities Department will test water hydrants throughout the city. During these periods, water users may experience low water pressure briefly or have discolored water.

However, the water will be safe to drink, the fire department said. All users are encouraged to check the color of their water before washing clothes. Discolored water may stain white clothes.

Most have been what was wrong

Most have been what was wrong with our water Saturday. Looked like pee water. Luckily by Sunday the color had cleared up but do believe we'll continue to use filtered water for drinking.
