Garbage truck stuck on Columbia Road guardrail

Columbia Road is closed at the creek below Ivey Falls, at the bottom of the hill, said Pam Tucker, Columbia County's director of emergency and operations.

A garbage truck is stuck on the guardrail on Columbia Road at the creek. Officials have had to temporarily close that section of the road so the wrecker can remove the truck, she said.

I hope this question is constructive and promotes community but how does a garbage truck get stuck on a guardrail? Oh and don't forget to close the back door when you get it unstuck. We don't want all of that trash all over Columbia Road like last time that they only picked up half of.

I hope no one was injured. I use Augusta Disposal and I have always had outstanding service. The guys who drive the truck are friendly and professional.

Wonder why this was "media

Wonder why this was "media Pam's" event? She sure does like print and video media. I do not really dislike her but she sure does get her name in whenever she thinks she can! It is really not a newsworthy incident!
