Power restored to about 500 in Thomson

Power to about 500 Georgia Power customers in Thomson was restored by 7 a.m. today, a Georgia Power spokeswoman said.

Christy Ihrig said that the outage occurred about 8:30 p.m. Saturday and that workers began trying to restore power about 10:15 p.m.
