A 32-year-old Hephzibah man notified authorities after his uncle stabbed him in the face with a fork Thursday afternoon.

According to an incident report, a ,man who moved in with his mother on the 1200 block of Brown Road in Hephzibah this week, became enraged and broke a radio in the residence because it wouldn’t play a CD.

His uncle, who also lives in the residence, retaliated by stabbing his nephew in the face with a fork, police said.

The uncle then fled the scene.

Deputies observed the victim to be “intoxicated and extremely uncooperative,” the report said.

I'm betting the uncle is a

I'm betting the uncle is a disgruntled, former customer of the North Augusta S&S cafeteria that just closed! He was despondent that the place closed, didn't know what to do with his favorite fork that he "borrowed" from the S&S, and then just snapped when the punk nephew broke the radio! He mistook the guy's face for the Tuesday Night Meatloaf Special. No judge in this area will ever convict this uncle!! Well, no judge who has ever been a fan of the S&S in North Augusta, that is!

The uncle is probably mad

The uncle is probably mad because now he has nothing to play his Merle Haggard CDs on.

There's rednecks living all

There's rednecks living all around the CSRA lol.. Nice neighborhoods do exist in South Augusta with homes over $300k.

That part of Brown rd may actually be inside the city limits of Hephzbah.. Hephzibah and South Augusta are two totally diffrent places.. The city of Hephzibah has it's own police department away from Augusta.. There are over 30k to 40k people living in the 30815 zipcode.. The city limits of Hephzibah(south of Willis Foreman rd) however is around 6k to 7k people. Millions dollar homes are located inside the city limits of Hephzibah(i.e close proximity to Plant Vogtle, NSA, etc).. There's a home for sale in Hephzibah listed at $2.4 million..

Countyman, you are trying too

Countyman, you are trying too hard. Back off. What you say is not going to make it happen. It will happen if it is meant to be and if the divide in the county is wiped out. The key is wiping out the divide in the governance of the county. It's all about the government, not what new businesses or industries have agreed to come there. That's just more of the same divide. If and when, and only if and when, you can get the entire county working toward the same goal will Richmond County emerge and take it's proper place in the state of Georgia and the second largest metropolitan area.

Dang, countyman. I didn't see

Dang, countyman. I didn't see your ridiculous post before I made my post. Some of the wealthiest land owners in Aiken County live in the council district where derelicts from below US1 in Augusta come over for quick hits on gas stations and quick stops in Aiken County. Can we subtract those numbers from your numbers concerning Richmond County?
