Church air conditioners damaged

Members of a Johns Road church discovered three damaged air conditioning units Thursday evening.

Deputies were called to Rock of Ages CME Church at 729 Johns Road around 7:30 p.m. Thursday where they found the motors and compressors had been stolen from three of the units located on the north side of the church, according to an incident report.

Church members believe the theft happened sometime between Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

The air conditioning units were estimated at $18,000.

The thieves must have showed

The thieves must have showed up for Wednesday prayer meeting, missed the service and got really mad! My comment is not even funny!! Hope they are caught!
