SC mother charged with aiding in daughter's death

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Greenville County authorities have charged a 30-year-old woman with aiding in the death of her 1-year-old daughter and then impeding officers' investigation.

Authorities said Wednesday that Georgia Ann Sprouse of Greer is charged with aiding and abetting homicide by child abuse, and accessory after the fact. She was being held in the Greenville County jail.

Arrest warrants accuse Sprouse of allowing her daughter to be abused and misleading investigators.

James Allen Johnson was arrested earlier this month and charged with homicide by child abuse in his daughter's suffocation death. Authorities say Nevaeh Sprouse was taken to the hospital last month after her mother said she choked while drinking a glass of tea. The child died two days later.

You are right thats very sad a lil baby that could do nothing to save herself, they need to be done the same way the baby was to let them see just how it feels. So So SAD My heart hurts for that baby if they didnt want her they could have given her to a family that would have loved her there is lots of families that cant have kids that would have loved to get her an care for her like there own. SHAME ON THE MOTHER AN DAD FOR DOING THIS TO HER!
