Burglary from business causes water damage

  • Follow Latest News

An Augusta business sustained water damage after a burglar stole at least 200 feet of electrical wiring over the weekend.

According to a Richmond County Sheriff's Office incident report, employees returned to Southern Distributing at 3212 Milledgeville Road Monday morning to find someone had busted a window with a fire extinguisher and then stole 200 feet of electrical wiring, an air conditioner condenser and an attic fan, all from the attic.

In the process the burglars damaged two galvanized steel water pipes and several sections of sheetrock.

"employees returned to

"employees returned to Southern Distributing at 3212 Milledgeville Road Monday morning to find someone had busted a window with a fire extinguisher"

Busted? Remember when newspaper stories were written using proper English, teachers used them as a teaching tool to teach grammar, and they helped millions of people to write effectively and correctly?

If the AC doesn't care about its standards and quality, why would anyone else?

What's wrong with using the word "broken"?

"employees returned to Southern Distributing at 3212 Milledgeville Road Monday morning to find someone had broken a window with a fire extinguisher to gain entry and then..."
