Woman faces assault charge after stabbing

A 23-year-old Augusta woman was arrested Friday night after a man was stabbed in her home, according to a report from the Richmond County Sheriff's office.

Lakeisha Stevens was charged with aggravated assault for the incident that occurred at 10:20 p.m. in her home on the 3600 block of Goldfinch Drive. Olajuwon Akeem Martin, 24, told police that while he was involved in another fight, Stevens stabbed his arm, shoulder and chest, according to the report.

Martin told police that after he was stabbed he ran down the street toward his home, according to the report.

Where is the rest of the story? Sound's like she was trying to aid the other person who this nice citizen was beating up. Hope she will get new friends when she gets out.
