World Memorial is a non-profit organization currently touring the country with the 30 x 58 foot, 75 pound commemorative flag in recognition of the 10-year anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and United Flight 93.
The Flag will fly in all 50 states in 50 weeks, hosted by local Fire and Police Departments and Veterans groups, before it flies over New York City, Washington D.C., and Shanksville, Penn., on the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks.
The flag's journey began on Sept. 10, 2010, in San Diego.
