Aiken County authorities had been searching for Timothy Wayne Glanton since his attack on an elderly woman in April. Glanton was wanted for kidnapping, felony carjacking, armed robbery with a deadly weapon and first degree assault and battery in Aiken County.

Glanton, who was last known to reside on the 2700 block of Edgefield Road in Aiken, was picked up by Ohio police after he attempted to abduct a woman at knife-point after jumping in her car at a McDonald’s drive-thru, according to an incident report. After the woman refused to drive Glanton, he beat her and fled the scene.

Glanton is currently incarcerated in Ohio but will be returned to Aiken County after charges are adjudicated in Ohio.

This person has been a career

This person has been a career criminal since his early teens, hopefully now he will FINALLY be put behind bars where he should have been MANY years ago! I am so thankful that he has been caught & no one was killed. ~A law abiding taxpaying Aiken resident~
