The victim said he was sitting in his vehicle grading papers at about 7:45 p.m. when a black man in his teens put a gun to his head and demanded the keys to his car, a Richmond County Sheriff’s report said.
The victim said he grabbed the gun and struggled with the man but was unable to take it away . The attacker then put on brass knuckles and demanded money, the report said. The victim gave him $20.
As the attacker and an accomplice fled, the victim said they yelled “that’s what happens when people are hungry.”
