Missing man, 81, found in Evans

A missing elderly man who suffers from dementia was discovered Thursday evening in Columbia County.

Officers with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office located Theodore Andreov, 81, around 11:30 p.m. at Walmart in Evans, according to a news release.

Authorities said he is fine.

I hope his family realizes

I hope his family realizes what a close call he had, and take his car away from him. This could've easily turned into a tragedy. People with dementia should not be driving.

They described his car in a previous article. It was a reasonable assumption that he might be driving it, since they were both missing.
