Police offer look at robbery suspect

North Augusta authorities have released a surveillance image of a man who might be linked to two armed robberies.


Officers said the robber entered a Marathon gas station at 937 Edgefield Road about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and left with money from the safe in a plastic bag.

The man is also linked to a previous Columbia County armed robbery, according to a North Augusta Public Safety incident report.

In both cases, the robber was wearing a red shirt with the word "England" on it and a gray Atlanta Braves hat.
