A 19-year-old has been charged after a friend was cut Wednesday evening.

According to Richmond County sheriff’s Lt. Calvin Chew, Tamika Gilbert had been with her friend Fantasia Lambert Wednesday while she was in a fight with another woman. However, Lambert, also 19, refused to help Gilbert fight.

Chew said  Gilbert retrieved a knife and stabbed at her friend several times on the 400 block of East Boundary.

Lambert suffered lacerations to the head, nose and forearm and also had swelling on her ear.

Gilbert was charged with aggravated assault and possession of knife during the commission of a crime.

According to Richmond County

According to Richmond County sheriff’s Lt. Calvin Chew, Tamika Gilbert had been with her friend Fantasia Lambert Wednesday while she was in a fight with another woman. However, Lambert, also 19, refused to help Gilbert fight.

So why would Lambert be angry because because Gilbert would not help her fight, when it was Gilbert who fought and Lambert would not help her fight?
