St. Joseph Foundation awards grants

The St. Joseph Foundation awarded $100,000 in unrestricted grants to eight area nonprofit organizations Tuesday.

The recipients were the Alzheimer's Assocation, $10,000; Augusta Care Pregnancy Center, $8,000; Child Enrichment, $10,000; Christ Community Health Services, $15,000; Garden City Rescue Mission and Life Development Center, $15,000; Miracle Making Ministries, $15,000; Coordinated Health Services, $15,000; and The Lydia Project, $12,000.

The St. Joseph Foundation is a nonprofit community fund that uses donations from area individuals, companies, foundations and charitable organizations to create grants for nonprofits that strive to make a positive difference in the community. The fund is managed by The Community Foundation of the CSRA.
